Birchbox October Review
10:47I've always wanted to get a beauty box subscription so when I saw I could get 50% my first order I jumped at the chance of trying this out! So for £5+postage I got 6 products, which was absolutely amazing: This months box was based on star signs which I thought was a great concept, here is what I got:
- Rituals Hammam Body Mud RRP £14
I've used this scrub a couple of times now and have really enjoyed it! I feel like it leaves my skin soft. However there's no way I would pay £14 for it and I'm happy with my current scrub.

2. Number 4 Fluror 5 Elixer Restore & Repair Oil (mini) RRP £18
This had the potential to be a great product, but due to already having oily hair it didn't do too much for my hair other than speed up how greasy my hair got. I didn't like the feel of my hair after using this and would prefer using other products to get that shiny look.
3. Loc X Millie RRP £9

4. This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray (mini) RRP £16
Sleeping in a different bed does take some getting useful. Especially at university when the beds are exactly the most comfortable beds I've slept on. After only using this spray twice I have noticed a difference when sleeping with the spray. It smells lovely and allows me to fall asleep easier and get a better night sleep. I would recommend but the price for the full sized products is a lot more than what I personally think its really worth.

5. Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream (mini) RRP £24.50
This cream is very moisturising and feels so great on my face! This is packed with antioxidants that smooth the appearance of fine lines. I tend to use this before I sleep. Although this is a good product I really dislike the smell, its very floral and just not my cup of tea.
6. Doux Me Pure Spring Mist RRP £16

Overall there has been some great products with a wide range of diversity. However I wanted more beauty and makeup products then I received so its not quite the box for me. The box would also be better if it was personalized to preferences, but for £5 I can't really complain. I did enjoy the process but I don't think I'll be continuing my subscription.
Let me know what boxes you would recommend?

I love subscription boxes! Have you tried any others? I'm currently getting Ipsy, Sephora Play and Julep. There are so many to choose from!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried any others! But I'm eager to do so! Unfortuenrly in the U.K. There isn't as much variety! But I'll try my best to review a lot!

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed it, and all my products were good but I just wanted more makeup products then skincare!
