Easy Toffee and Chocolate Apples
03:52This is the perfect treat for this season and is actually surprisingly so easily to make!!
TOFFEE APPLES
- Mix 400g of caster sugar and 100ml of water
- Place in a saucepan on a medium heat for around 5 minutes until the sugar has dissolved in the water.
- Add 1 tbsp of vin
- egar and 4 tbsp of golden syrup
- Mix and bring to the boil
- Boil for around 10 minuets until there is a slight color change and the mixture starts to thicken.
- To test if the toffee is ready place a small spoonful in a bowel of cold water. If the toffee hardens and becomes solid it is ready.
- Carefully dip the apple in the toffee. Be so careful as trust me it hurts if you touch it!!!!
- Place on a tray and leave to cool.
CHOCOLATE APPLES

- This is 10x easier than toffee apples!
- Place 100g chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute
- Mix then place the chocolate over the apples.
- Place on tray and leave to cool in the fridge.
- Decorate with sprinkles or marshmallows

ReplyDeleteDo it!!! It's so quick and easy! They are also delicious!!
ReplyDeleteThere is an even easier way to make caramel.
ReplyDeleteRemove label from a can of sweetened condensed milk. (Make sure there are no dents or breaks in seals.)
Place in a large pot of boiling water.
Ensure the can is always completely covered with water.
Boil for 6 hours, topping water level as necessary.
Allow the can to cool before opening.
This does seem easy, but the way I made the toffee was a lot quicker than 6 hours and a lot of the ingredients are common household!! But thanks for the tips!
