How to make the most out of the rest of your year!

09:50

Now Autumn is coming to and end and the cold draw upon us I tend to start doing nothing and laze around all day. In these winter months I do often find it hard to have any motivation and to me life just seems to get a bit boring. There's not much on its cold and rainy (especially in England!!), so there's not too much you can do.

  • Visit somewhere you've never been before, can be local or can be far. Having a change of scenery is exciting and makes me feel so refreshed.
  • Arrange a 'Christmassy' day out. This year winter wonderland is a must for me.
  • Have a baking evening with friends/partners.
  • Do something you've always wanted to try. No point waiting for theses new years resolutions. DO IT TODAY!
  • If it snows, go sledging. Always so much fun for everyone.
  • Try a new food, something that's completely different.
  • My favorite thing to do this time of the year, is have casual drinks with friends at a pub. (Preferably cheap)
  • Go somewhere different for your Christmas shopping! Make a day out of it.
  • Say hello to that stranger you want to talk to.
  • Go to a concert of someone you like. There's nothing better.
  • Make the most of  black Friday weekend and get a few bargains in before Christmas.
  • Go star gazing. But make sure you go in a car and bring a blanket with a warm drink. It's a bit chilly this time of year.
  • Go ice skating.
  • Have a catch up with and old friend.
  • Have a a fire and roast some marshmallows!! Dip them in chocolate or make snores. You won't be disappointed.

  3. When it's colder outside, grab a great cup of coffee (or tea) and let your imagination roam, it's great for writing, you go straight to the motivation mode !

  9. Such a good list. It's so true at this time of the year, because it gets dark so early, it's so easy to get into a slump and wanting to just go asleep!

  10. That's exactly true, it's still good to do so much fun stuff. It's not summer but the possibility to do stuff is still there!
