Chocolate Orange Energy Balls Recipe
05:52This recipe is to die for. These little balls of goodness are so easy to make. Each batch takes around 20 minutes to and makes around 18 balls. Normally I would hate eating all these ingredients on their own, but somehow together they work!! At less than 100 calories per ball you can't say no to these.
Ingredients:
- 50g Oats
- 50g Mixed Seeds
- 25g Sultanas
- 100g Cashew Nuts
- 100g Dates
- 2 Satsuma
- 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 2 tbsp butter
Method:
- Chop the cashew nuts, dates and sultanas.
- Zest and juice the satsumas
- Place all ingredients in a blender with a splash of orange juice. Blend for a few minutes while pausing to shake the contents every now and again. (This didn't work well for me so I had to very finely chop my ingredients, however if you have a good blender it will work fine)

- Pour out the mixture into a bowl and mix until all is combined. The aim is to get to a cookie dough texture, if this is not achievable add small amounts of flour until the desired texture is reached.
- Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into small balls.
- Place to balls in a box in the fridge, these should keep for around 2 whole weeks!!

Let me know if any of you try these!!
