My Goals for 2017
10:092016 has been a great year for me, I've done many amazing things and I've also learnt a hell of a lot. This all inspires me to make the most of 2017 to try and be the happiest I can be. At the end of the year I would love to look back on this post and see how much I've achieved.
Be Spontaneous
My main goal for 2017 is to do more adventurous things. I mean yes I went out and did a few things this year but I didn't do a lot. I spent a little too many days in my pj's for my liking. This year I want to make the most out of my opportunities and get out the house and do things. Even if it's just a little walk somewhere I haven't been before, I want to do it. There's nothing wrong with a cosy day on the sofa but I want to see the world, and I can do this without traveling. As much as I would like to visit so may beautiful countries I can't but there's so many great things around your home town. You just need to look.
University Goals
This is my first year at uni and I know it doesn't count towards anything but I want to make sure I do well. To make sure I can do the best I can I want to complete assignments a few days before they are due. This gets rid of any last minute stress and always gives me a few days to continue looking through to get rid of any mistakes. Honestly reading through work a few days after you've done it is so useful, you'll be surprised of how many more mistakes you pick up on. Living by myself for the last few months as been great, this year I really want to get organised with it. Planning my meals and spending ahead will hopefully save me a little bit in money and time Then I'll probably splurge it all anyway!
Improve My Fitness
You're all probably bored to death hearing me talk about my injury to you. Thank god It's all over now! This year after my rehabilitation I really want to get my fitness levels back up. Basically I'm extremely missing exercise right now and I just feel so bloody lazy. Honestly can't wait to just be able to do what I love again.
Cut Out Negativity
This year I've certainty cut out a lot of negativity in my life but this has mainly been focused on the people around me. In 2017 I want to focus on eliminating my own negativity. How many times do you say sorry to someone when your running late or when you rant out all your emotions to them. Now instead of dwelling on theses moments and apologising for the hassle I feel I've caused I want to start thanking them instead. So things such as thank you for being a great friend to me, this way I don't drag myself down and I also (hopefully) raise spirits and confidence of others. I want to have a more positive outlook on life. I wouldn't classify myself as a negative person as I'm always upbeat and happy but I do often find the negative in things. So instead of this I want to reverse it and always look for the positive, even in bad situations there will always be some slight positivity and this is what I aim to find.
Smile a bit more
Whether it's me myself or smiling or making others smile I just want a little more smiles in my life.
Blogging Goals
I still consider myself rather new to blogging, and I definitely have a lot more to learn. This coming year I want to start being more organised with my blog and having a posting schedule where I post on certain days of the week. I also aim to write out posts and schedule them way before they are due (unlike this one I'm writing 45 minutes before its posted ooops). I also seriously need to up my photography and Instagram game, my feed is a mess and I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. Running a giveaway this year would be great fun to do, as well as a way to thank everyone for their support. I'll probably do this once I reach key goals on my social media following. Most importantly I would love to make more blogging friends this year as honestly everyone is just so dam nice (honestly why can't people I actually know be that nice.
