These five products are an absolute must have in my makeup bag, I can't go through my makeup routine without using them, I can not recommend them all enough!!!!

Real Techniques Miracle Complexation sponge
£5.99 in Superdrug, or snap up a little saving by buying a double pack for £9.99.
Sponges have been all the rage this year and I think this is the perfect dupe for the beauty blender and being £10 cheaper it doesn’t break the bank!! The Real Techniques sponge is a slightly different shape to the beauty blender, however I find this easier to work with by using the point under my eyes to get into the smaller spaces and I use the straight edge to blend in my foundation. This product is absolutely perfect on ensuring my foundation has flawless finish and even coverage. With such simple application the one sponge can be used to blend many products such as concealer, contour and foundation and will really save on the need to own various brushes. However on the down size the sponge does need to be cleaned regularly to ensure the coverage is still great. Overall a great product that I would thoroughly recommend.

L’Oréal Super Liner

This eyeliner is absolute incredible! The nib is thin making the application so precise and easy to do, but also easy to make a thicker line if you would prefer. The colour is great providing an intense black look and the colour will last all day without smudging. I’ve had this eyeliner for a fair few months now and it hasn’t started to dry out yet. Since discovering this product I’ve never wanted to use eyeliner. This product is definitely my go to eyeliner and Its always kept in my makeup bag for day to day use.

Eyelur Lashes

These lashes are my ultimate go to for every night out! I rarely wear lashes in an everyday look but I hate not having a pair on when I go out. I tend to go for the Natural 003 or occasionally branch out to the lengthening 080 for a special occasion. Personally I feel with the volume lashes I end up looking like a drag queen due to their size on my small eyes. The glue provided with the lashes is high quality for the price and when I use it my lashes will stay on all night. The bonus with these lashes is I can wear them multiple times and can sometimes even get up to four uses! I would recommend these lashes to everyone and they offer so many varieties to suit every occasion or personal preference and are easily to cut down in size if they are too big.

KIKO Metallic Shine eyeshadow 02
£3.40 (on sale, normally retails at £6.90) Kiko cosmectics



I am never really sure if KIKO is classified as a High street brand or not due to it not being available in drug stores and only available in KIKO stores, but however as seen from the price it is far from high end! My favourite shade of this collection is 02 absolutely Rose and is a very light pink shade with a shimmer finish. The eyeshadow is more of a slight cream base and the eyeshadow is insanely pigmented for the price, trust me a little goes a long way! It’s easy to blend with other shadows and the colour will stay on most of the day. However when I wear this product for a long day I do notice that it will start to crease on my lid. KIKO is a great affordable brand with some real good quality products in their collection.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
£4.19 Boots



This product is an absolute gem in the collection range being one of my favourite all time concealers and is very much compared to the Nars Radiant Creamy concealer. This is a full coverage concealer and will cover my blemishes all day. I tend to use the shade 02 Cool Medium to cover my blemishes and shade Fair 01 as a under the eye highlight. Although the coverage is amazing I do find this product slightly harder to blend compared to more higher brands but will blend in nicely with slightly more time. Overall this is a great product that is five times cheaper compared to may comparable high end products.
